Event Overview

The Community Craft Fair is a community learning event where YASBIZ participants showcase handmade goods, build workplace skills, and engage with the public. In addition to the vendor marketplace, the fair features learning workshops led by selected presenters. These workshops flip the typical event experience by putting young adults in teaching roles to build confidence and leadership.

Role clarity: Vendors and presenters are separate roles. Vendors cannot be presenters, and presenters cannot be vendors. Vendors are expected to staff their tables for the full event (10:00 AM–2:00 PM) except to take short breaks.


Ticket Options

There are two ticket types for young adults and an optional staff lunch ticket:

1) YASBIZ Vendor Ticket – $50 per vendor

For YASBIZ vendors who will be selling products.


Includes:

  • One 6 foot vendor table (only one table per vendor)

  • Boxed lunch/snacks with reusable lunch bag

  • Vendor toolkit

  • Electricity if requested in the vendor form


Requirements:

  • Vendors must also complete the Vendor Registration Form by Oct 15, 5:00 PM.

  • Vendors must staff their tables for the entire event except to take short breaks.

  • Vendors cannot be presenters at this event.

2) YASBIZ Attendee Experience Kit – $50 per participant

For young adults attending but not vending as well as prospective and accepted presenters.


Includes:

  • Boxed lunch/snacks with reusable lunch bag

  • Event spending cash

  • Activities

  • Event swag


* Presenters: Young adults who would like to present at the event can fill out the Presenter Application Form - Whether they're accepted or not, they should purchase an Attendee Experience Kit so they receive lunch, spending cash, activities, and swag.


* If your agency does not request a SSV boxed lunch/snacks with reusable lunch bag, event spending cash, activities and event swag for your young adults, no registration is required, they may simply attend like the public.

3) Advisor/Staff Lunch Ticket (Optional) – $0 per staff/advisor

For advisors/staff who who would like an SSV supplied boxed lunch with reusable lunch bag at the event.


  • SSV provides a boxed lunch in exchange for a $20 raffle prize/per advisor/staff ticket brought by the agency staff/advisor receiving lunch. 

    • Example: If 4 staff attend, my agency will provide raffle prize(s) valued at a total of $80 (this may be individual prizes or one larger prize/basket of equal value).


  • If your agency does not request SSV lunches for staff/advisors, no raffle prizes or registration are required—you may simply attend like the public.

    This option provides a box lunch for 1 staff provided by Street Smart Ventures when the advisor/staff supplies a raffle prizes equal to at least $20 in value per staff/advisor attending. Example: If 4 staff attend, my agency will provide raffle prize(s) valued at a total of $80 (this may be individual prizes or one larger prize/basket of equal value). Each staff attending should acquire this ticket.
