About the event
Calling all artists, makers, and creative entrepreneurs!
Street Smart Ventures entrepreneurs are invited to participate as sellers at the CHDI Mini-Marketplace. This is your opportunity to create something, decide how to price it, prepare your display, and sell your work directly to people who work at CHDI.
Whether you create artwork, prints, photography, ceramics, planters, totes, notebooks, cards, stickers, magnets, keychains, or something completely your own, we want to see what you can make. These are only ideas for inspiration. Your creativity can take you in any direction.
During this two-hour marketplace, CHDI staff will have the opportunity to meet the makers, explore the items available, and purchase products they would like to use, display, give as gifts, or take home.
By participating, you will gain real-world experience with:
Preparing products for customers
Setting prices and displaying your work
Talking with customers about what you created
Handling sales and making change
Building confidence as an entrepreneur

$20/seller registration is required for every participating artist or maker. Space may be limited, so early registration is encouraged. Lunch will be served to registered sellers. Participants will also receive additional information about arrival time, setup, displays, and preparing for the marketplace.

Register to sell your original creations to CHDI staff on October 28 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Lunch will be served to all registered sellers.

Staff or Advisor Admission
This free ticket is for advisors or staff attending the CHDI Mini-Marketplace to support participating SSV entrepreneurs. Admission and lunch are included. This ticket does not register the attendee as a seller.
